Qualification: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Minimum 3-year relevant natural science or engineering degree. Experience: Minimum 5-year experience in calculation operational carbon and environmental footprint Extensive knowledge of Carbon Footprinting GHG Protocol, IPCC, PCAF, CDP, DJSI, TCFD (see abbreviations above) Good English ability will be crucial The key attribute will be meticulous attention to detail and technical (scientific) accuracy and strong self-management capability Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Carbon Footprinting Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) Carbon Disclosure Programme (CDP) Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Please note that if you have not received a response within 14 days of submitting your application that your application was unsuccessful.
