They are based in Cape Town and JHB. They are looking for a Systems Administrator with at least 6+ years of professional IT experience and client-facing exposure. The successful candidate should have good communication skills and be amenable to a flexible work schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and a solid infrastructure background. They should have a strong understanding of Windows server architecture, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Policies. Additionally, they should have experience in the following areas:
MS Exchange On-Site Administration Skills.
Firewall and Switch configuration and management (Sophos)
0365 and Azure skills and experience.
VMware Infrastructure Knowledge
Backup Infrastructure (Veeam + Backup Exec)
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in MS Windows Server Administration, Active Directory Management and Administration, Group Policies Management, MS Exchange On-Site, VMware Management and Administration, networking, and Switch and Firewall configuration skills. They should have at least A+ N+ certification and desirable certificates such as MCSE, VMware Administrator, and Office 365 Administrator. They should also have Sophos Firewall Administration experience.
