Overall purpose of the role We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst to innovate, develop, and maintain the Client's SharePoint environment and related applications (Power Apps/Power Automate, Forms etc). This position is based in Cape Town. Projects and Enhancements: Meeting with the designated teams to review website and application requirements. Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements. Developing new web components using e.g., JSON, SQL, and C#. Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications. Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies. Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications and authorisations Implement and maintain software version control/release management Support : Supporting existing sites by responding to issues related to site administration, security, performance, and other technical issues Providing systems training to staff National Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or software engineering Extensive knowledge of JSON, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks, Rest API and Dataverse. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services. Familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. Knowledge of Cloud technologies and PowerBi. Systems Development (including System and Database Design and coding). Full understanding and experience in SDLC processes Minimum 4 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer – Essential. Website and Application Development – New app development and maintenance. Relevant M365 SharePoint Online, PowerApps and Power Automate certifications Automation of processes. Workflow development SAP experience advantageous Excellent Interpersonal communication skills Ability to work under pressure High attention to detail Ability to apply initiative, good judgement, and creative thinking Good business acumen Problem solving and analysis skills.
