Tablet Press Machine Operator - South Africa
The role of the Tablet Press Operator involves operating and setting up a tablet press machine in compliance with the company's SOPs and cGMP regulations. The primary objective is to ensure that products meet the relevant quality standards.The Tablet Press Operator is held responsible for the overall performance of the production line. Duties & Responsibilities: Operate equipment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and other regulations. Maintain and control punches and dies for each product in an orderly manner. Ensure cleanliness of equipment, maintaining a contaminant-free environment. Maintain accurate batch records, samples, labels, GMP documentation, and safety records. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (hair net, beard net (if needed), gloves, etc.) where required. Responsible for constant communication with the department Supervision to determine needs Prepare the work area and keep it safe, clean, and organized Adhere to safety guidelines Complete all maintenance paperwork. Assist with maintenance Follow cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules while performing daily functions. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management. Strip, clean and reassemble machine Job Requirements: Matric ( essential ) Experience in housekeeping GMP and SOP experience/ training Machine Operation experience (Cadmach CMB4 D27 Square Mode) Organized and Attention to detail Good time management skills Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards Physical Requirements: Heavy physical effort required. Continuous mental and visual attention is required. May be trained and required to operate a forklift. May be trained and required to operate additional machines Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, pull, push, kneel, stoop, crouch, and walk about the building and in production. Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
