Is a specialist and takes responsibility for recruitment tasks within People Services. Works in particular areas within Recruitment, performing a variety of tasks of moderate scope or possibly in more complex areas. Ensures compliance with best practices and standards within the Recruitment department. Demonstrates a strong understanding of business end-to-end processes and acts according to them Accurately identifies risks and reports effectively to relevant stakeholders, provides consulting advice to business stakeholders regarding every day recruitment tasks Contributes to management reporting, including providing input in own specialism area. Actively participates and delivers on own objectives, helping out other team members including senior colleagues and provides input into team planning. Supports in learning interventions, organising and creating recruitment events. Deputises for Seniors as required. Essential: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Desirable: Additional courses or certification in People Services General: Professional attitude. Has developed a reputation as a trusted consultant. Good client-facing skills, with experience in developing partnerships with the team and internal client and collaborating with others to meet client expectations. Has experience in proposing different options and solutions for approaching and resolving challenges and issues. Adaptable and responds positively to changing business needs. Sees change as an opportunity to improve performance. Excellent communication skills. Adapts style accordingly and demonstrates an understanding of the audience’s perspective. Uses discretion when dealing with sensitive information. Able to build and maintain good relationships with internal teams and external contacts. Comfortable supporting a demanding and dynamic team including more senior stakeholders. Technical: Proven record and experience in a consultant role. Proficient with MS Office suite of programmes, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Intermediate knowledge and experience in a client/customer service role. Proficient in relevant software packages, applications and databases. Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Demonstrable experience working in a project-focused environment. Management: Good people skills, has experience in supporting others in raising their performance and working out their development goals. Experience in supporting team success and motivating others to keep morale and performance high. Good self management, can set and work to quantified goals and standards, delivers by being aware of and considering the commercial impacts. Must be flexible, independent and self motivated. Essential: Technical recruitment experience, eg: Engineering or IT Desirable: Agency recruitment experience International recruitment experience Recruitment within an Engineering space Own Transport Good Internet connection Willing to work 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday.
