Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Officer Market Related - Sandton

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Officer and Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in our Sandton based Head Office. This role will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources functions with a primary focus on talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a keen eye for identifying top talent as part of their overall indepth background of all HR practices. The role will be required to service HR functions across our national footprint. Responsibilities include the following. 1. Talent Acquisition: • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent. • Source candidates through various channels • Conduct interviews, screenings, and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for the organization. • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding. 2. Recruitment Coordination: • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers. • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process. • Be actively involved in recruitment by understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process 3. HR Administration: • All day-to-day HR operations, including effective employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and documentation. • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and efficiency in systems • Manage IR processes such as CCMA, arbitrations, disciplinary processes etc • Provide guidance on policies and procedures • Support HR initiatives and programs related to employee engagement, performance management, training, and development. • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues 4. Compliance and Policy Adherence: • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR activities and processes. • Development of HR related policies and procedures in line with laws and regulations • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and best practices. Requirements and Skills • Bachelor Degree in HR Management, Social Studies, or relevant field. • HR Credentials (SABPP or IPM or another HR professional body) • Industrial psychology accreditation advantageous • At least 5 years' experience • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other relevant HR position • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.) • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures • Proficient in MS Office • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated strong ethics and professionalism in handling sensitive HR information. • Willingness to travel across the country as an when a need arises.
