Tax Associate - Durban
Minimum Requirements:
- LLB Degree.
- Postgraduate/Honours in Taxation.
- Min 2 years experience working in the tax department of an auditing firm or law firm.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Tax law.
- Tax technical and advisory experience an advantage.
- Provide clear legal advice on complex tax matters.
- Act as counsel on tax issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Contact and liaise with internal and external clients and SARS.
- Research and analyse relevant regulatory requirements and translate into business solutions.
- Draft tax opinions and relevant documentation.
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients and other stake holders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Customer focussed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate and plan.
- Constructive teamwork.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently.
