Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Tax Consultant in the Cape Town area to join a local Audit & Advisory firm. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and assistance to clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique tax situations and develop strategies to minimize their tax liabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporate entities, and trusts Assistance with drafting and submission of objections where necessary (Income Tax, VAT, Employees Tax) Drafting of Tax Calculations and Income Tax returns Dividends Tax returns Account Maintenance for all tax types Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities Assist clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements Research and interpret tax laws and regulations Stay up-to-date on changes to tax laws and regulations Provide support during tax audits and investigations Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field 3 - 5 years prior experience working within a similar role Solid knowledge of the Income Tax Act, the tax systems and practical experience in dealing with SARS is essential.
