Description Team Leader - Accounting Johannesburg, South Africa (Full Time) Reporting Lines: Senior Manager About Apex Business Services Apex Business Services, an Apex Group Company, is dedicated to delivering exceptional service with a personal touch. Over the past two years we have promoted over 30% of our accounting staff. The team leaders are key members of our team, providing oversight on the service delivery to our clients. They have the opportunity to build positive relationships with both the clients and the members of their own team. Your team will comprise of both qualified and part qualified accountants. You will provide mentorship to the junior members of the team however we acknowledge that personal growth and development is important so we provide structured learning programmes and opportunities to be involved in a variety of projects. We are a UK based business building our operations in South Africa and Mauritius. Job Specification Delivering a co-ordinated service to a portfolio of clients Managing service delivery on accounting/financial matters (i.e. outsourced CFO/FC) Detailed review of all accounting output Ownership of accounting output Management of resource requirements within the team through business cycle Managing the workflow of the team on a day to day basis Maintaining a high standard of service and good client relations Co-ordinating service delivery with other disciplines Managing the effectiveness of accounting technical resources Managing team billing Team debt management You will also have responsibility for Business Planning, People Development and Risk Management.
