Robert Walters Africa Responsibilities:Work with deal teams and portfolio companies to prepare submission of their monthly financials via the Chronograph Portal, including the building and maintenance of Flash Reports utilising Chronograph's proprietary Excel Add-In.Become a 'power user' of Chronograph, the company's portfolio monitoring system, able to train and advise users on its use.Maintain and enhance system datasets and ensure data consistency and governance, understanding how the data - and data quality - plays a key role in the company's technical architecture.Support the PM and D&A teams in producing timely and accurate reporting via Chronograph (and other) systems, utilising Excel, PowerBI and several other tools at your disposal.Using Chronograph, work with other teams (e.g. Investor Relations, ESG, Fund Administration, Operations) to identify and implement automated solutions to existing manual data collection tasks.Support the company's ongoing push towards automation.Continuously assess potential improvements to the Chronograph product and test upcoming enhancements. Candidates Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Accountancy / Financial Modelling)Minimum 2 years' related experienceAdvanced Excel user (incl. PowerQuery), with proficiency in the M365 SuiteExperience of implementing and/or maintaining a systems project or new business process advantageousExperience of Portfolio Monitoring software (Chronograph, eFront, FrontPM, iLEVEL, Allvue,tomInvest) preferableExperience in analysing data and presenting clear, concise summariesKnowledge of BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) advantageousIf you meet the above requirements, do not hesitate to apply for this role as a Technical Analyst.
