Technical Assistant - Nelspruit

• Minimum Certificate in Agriculture
• Ideal Diploma in Agriculture
• 2+ years' experience in agriculture fieldwork and data capturing
• Duties:
  • Assist in the layout of field trials, including placing bands on trees and other preparatory tasks
  • Preparation for trials, including loading equipment, labeling tags, and mapping trial layouts
  • Conduct trials alongside the Research Technician, including tasks such as spraying trees, taking soil samples, and measuring tree volume
  • Evaluate trials and assist in data capture
  • Clean up after field trials, including removing labels and tags
  • Prepare for laboratory trials by organizing equipment and consumables
  • Conduct trials in collaboration with the Research Technician
  • Assist in evaluating trials and capturing data
• Must have a valid drivers license
