Technical Configuration Controller - - Midrand

Position: Technical Configuration Controller

Location: Midrand, Gauteng - South Africa

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Working closely with the following departments:
Engineering, Procurement, Production & Product Support.
Coordinating all Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Production Problem Reports (PPRs) between the Departments as well as maintaining all the baselines.
Managing data between PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (Syspro) Maintain released data from PLM to ERP.
Maintaining / Correcting all Jobs in Syspro after ECP release. Assist Procurement on orders (Cancellation or new orders)

Qualifications:

Grade 12.
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NDip)
Computer Literate (Windows & Excell)
CAD knowledge (no need to be user)

EXPERIENCE:
5 years plus relevant experience in the manufacturing industry in the following:

Engineering BOMs.
Technical Drawings (Engineering Data Pack)
Manufacturing BOMs
Problem Reports
Engineering Change Proposals
Understands PLM systems (Preferably Teamcenter) Experience in Configuration management.
