JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Marketer to join our team in Potchefstroom and the surrounding areas. As a Technical Marketer in the agricultural products industry, you will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts for our diverse range of agricultural products. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans for agricultural products in the Potchefstroom and surrounding areas. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Generate leads, qualify prospects, and successfully close sales through effective negotiation and contract management. Track and report on sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports on activities and sales, providing valuable insights for management. Assist in the planning and execution of trials for new and existing agricultural products, collecting data and reporting on trial results. Provide technical advice and support to farmers, optimizing the use of our agricultural products. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Relevant qualification or substantial experience in sales within the agricultural industry. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build lasting relationships with customers. Strong administrative skills and computer literacy for effective sales management and reporting. Valid driver's license essential. Willingness to travel as required. Punctuality, responsibility, and self-motivation to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime during peak hours, demonstrating commitment to delivering exceptional results.
