TECHNICAL PROJECT ENGINEER 12 MONTH CONTRACT UITENHAGE

(Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Uitenhage or Port Elizabeth)

REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of production processes, layouts and facilities.
Excellent insight in total company Engineering, planning, manufacturing systems and pre-calculated costing practices.
Have strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Must have good analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
Must be assertive and have facilitation skills.
Must have ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels.
Be extremely motivated, flexible and able to perform in stressful environments.
Working knowledge of Technical German Language.
Must be willing to travel internationally at short notice.

JOB DISCRIPTION/ RESPONSIILITIES:

Formulating and compiling detailed product specifications.
Keeping project on budget.
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the engineering projects.
Problem Identification and resolution.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Manage project issues, risks and actions.
Manage project changes to achieve project outputs.
Project evaluations and assessments of results.
