Technical Sales Advisor (Bioconditioning) - - South Africa

Our client was founded in 1981 and focuses on manufacturing, marketing and distributing technological animal feed additives, and disinfectant products for animal feed, livestock, and food. They have an exciting permanent TECHNICAL SALES ADVISOR position available in Chloorkop, Midrand . Product: Technological animal feed additives. Detergent and disinfectant products for the feed and livestock industries. Market: Animal feed mills and associated industry. Livestock operations including dairy farms, poultry and pigs. Abattoirs and rendering plants. Responsibilities: Highly conversant and professional in technical and conceptual aspects of all products. Analyze customer needs, recommend suitable products, provide advice, and effectively address customer questions and concerns. Discuss products and explain technical concepts and product uses effectively. Write customer reports and proposals related to technical product solutions. Build long-term relationships with the customer base to establish loyalty. Identify new opportunities and grow the customer base. Track sales and share monthly sales reports with the management team. Research current market trends and identify new product developments, providing feedback to the management team. Requirements: Education: Grade12 plus a relevant degree or diploma (BCom / BSc preferable) . Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience within a Technical Sales environment. Must be prepared to travel > 4 000 km and spend 4 nights away each month. Travel to neighbouring countries required. Commercially minded.
