Reference: NES019016-EV-1 Technical Sales Consultant, mechanical and electrical components knowledge. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge is a pre-requisite for the ideal candidate. The candidate must have sound communication and liaison skills that are appropriate at all levels within an organisation. The position office will require the candidate to travel. The Technical Sales Representative works very closely with the Internal Sales, Branch Manager and different divisions of the company. Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering or a Technical Qualification equal to a N6 advantageous. Must be able to read technical drawings Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Electrical / Mechanical components Industry. Sound internal and external client relations Sound knowledge of sales techniques Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and understand Mechanical drawings Perform technical sales tasks, generate leads and develop relationships with prospective clients Drafting of client specific proposals and quotation Accurate compilation of relevant sales data and statistics Company product, market and competitor knowledge
