Technical Sales Representative Secunda - Secunda
International Chemical Manufacturing company has a Technical Sales position available in the IWT Division within the Petrochemical Industries based in Secunda. Tertiary qualification in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry or Microbiology required, with a minimum of 2 years industry related technical sales experience. The successful candidate will be a people-person, practically orientated, able to handle pressure, a problem solver and a team member who is self-motivated. They must be able to communicate at all levels, be organized and self-disciplined. Candidate needs to be computer literate in Microsoft packages, and understand business systems and be able to produce technical reports. The career is challenging with exceptional growth possibility. Requirements: A Degree or National Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite.A Minimum of 2 years relevant technical sales experience.Valid Driver's licenseExposure to/ Experience in the following will be a significant advantage: Petrochemical Process treatmentBoiler water treatmentRaw water flocculation treatmentCooling water treatmentLiquid/solid separationWritten service reportsHaving done internal service inspections of related equipment at customer’ sitesExperience in polymer application to solid/liquid separation.
