We are seeking to appoint a WMS Implementation Technical Specialist. The candidate will report into the Applications Portfolio Manager (Warehouse Processes and System). Please note this is an office based role. Job Purpose: The WMS Implementation Technical Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and support of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across the organization. This role requires a good understanding of WMS, supply chain processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into system functionality. Key Performance Areas: • Implementation and Configuration: With the support of other team members, implement and configure WMS solutions based on business requirements. This includes system setup, testing, and go-live support. • Technical Support: Provide technical support for WMS including troubleshooting and problem resolution. • Training: Train end-users on the use of the WMS, ensuring they understand system functionality and capabilities. • Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training purposes. Skills • Functional configuration proficiency in implementing WMS systems. • Writing Functional Specifications for business review & sign-off • Ability to write SQL scripts and use other technical tools to assist in troubleshooting. • Writing Test Specifications and executing testing against them. • Good data manipulation skills using MS Excel. (strongly advisable) • Certificate or Diploma from a WMS system provider or implementation partner showing training or competence with installing WMS solutions. Minimum Experience Essential: • Proven experience in WMS implementation and/or support. • Good understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes. • 5 years' work experience in logistics.Desirable: • End user support experience. • KNAPP Kisoft Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) operational or implementation experience. • Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries • Familiarity with SAP ERP
