Technical Test Manager EXP 2547 - - Midrand

What You'll Do:

Collaborate & Create: Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop, and test cutting-edge technical products and applications within an agile/DevOps environment.
Strategy & Execution: Craft and implement comprehensive test strategies that align with AWM requirements and ensure seamless execution of all tests.
Build & Govern: Enhance testing capacity, manage test resources, and oversee all domain test activities to ensure top-tier quality and performance.
Automate & Integrate: Develop and integrate automated testing for frontend, backend, performance, and load testing using industry-standard tools.
Analyze & Report: Monitor test activities, track new requirements, and provide insightful reports to drive continuous improvement.
Support & Resolve: Tackle escalated support issues as part of a tier-2/3 DevOps role, ensuring the highest availability of critical applications.

Essential Skills:

Functional Testing: Frontend, backend, unit, and integration testing.
Production Support Experience: Expertise in non-functional testing (performance, security, and load).
Automation Frameworks: Proficiency with Selenium, Rest Assured, and similar tools.
Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
Database Management: Experience with Oracle and Postgres.
CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, and more.
Interface Technologies: MQ, REST, SOAP.
Defect & Incident Management: Proficient with ITSM Suite / BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.

Advantageous Skills:

Backend Expertise: Java EE, PL/SQL, Python, and more.
Frontend Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.
Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.
Monitoring Tools: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, and others.
Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, XP experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Relevant IT Degree.
Experience: Over 10 years in software engineering with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
