TECHNICAL TRAINER Our client in Cape Town, (Hybrid working condition) has a Permanent position for a Technical Trainer. We are looking for an experienced, skilled and passionate Technical Trainer to join our team. The Technical Trainer will play a critical role in developing the technical skills and knowledge of our employees. The role sits within the operational space of the business and reports directly to the Skills Coach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and previous training experience in the Financial Services industry and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective technical training programs. At least 5 years' experience in the Unit Trust and LISP (Discretionary and Life and Retirement Products) industry At least 5 years proven experience in a technical trainer role, ideally in a Unit Trust or LISP (Discretionary and Life and Retirement Products) environment. Proven track record of driving and implementing knowledge improvements in a formal setting, as well as on-the-ground coaching. Strong understanding of financial products, product rules, legislation, and end-to-end administration processes. New Hire onboarding Develop and Deliver Training Programs Technical Expertise Training Needs Analysis Evaluation and Improvement Documentation and Reporting Cross Functional Collaboration You will be responsible for the transfer of specialist product and process information, the development of in-depth system skills and knowledge and above all, impart a passion for a customer centric service. The Technical Trainer will have the ability to gain commitment of the Operational teams with a focus on continuous improvement of processes, systems and training in order to deliver a great client experience. Ultimately you will be responsible for setting the standard of service excellence. This will be achieved by monitoring, supporting the implementation of continuous improvement and the training and development of operational staff. You will be a support for all staff on operational processes and procedures. The role requires a passion for exceptional service delivery, a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the learnings of others as well as a solid understanding of the client and financial impacts of knowledge gaps.
