Job Number 72785 Job Type FT Contract Job Title Technician Computer Skills Communication,Detail oriented,Problem solving,SCAD Industry Computer - IT City Johannesburg Province Gauteng Job Description Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems Perform routine maintenance tasks on SCADA systems, including equipment inspections, testing, and calibration Interpret SCADA data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance indicators. Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as testing, troubleshooting, and replacing faulty components. Ensure compliance with operating regulations for high voltage systems (ORHVS) and other relevant safety standards. Operate high voltage systems according to established procedures and safety protocols. Monitor system performance, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions as needed. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving high voltage systems, such as power outages or equipment failures. Provide training and guidance to other technicians and personnel on ORHVS principles and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and safety compliance reports.
