Technician - Pretoria
We're seeking a Technician to join our team of solvers! As a Technician, you will assist with system design input to proposals and compiling functional design specifications for new projects. Provide technical support to field technicians and clients.Â

What you’ll do:
- Compiling functional design specifications.
- Compiling monthly reconciliation reporting.
- Providing technical assistance to Business Development.
- EMS, AMR system commissioning and integration.
- Factory Acceptance Testing of Metering system.
- Supporting field technicians.
- Attending to client’s queries and supports.
- Configuring hardware (servers, switches, gateways, power meters).
- Attending to any other reasonable tasks given.
Your expertise:
- Function-related experience:  3 - 5 years’ experience in EMS and/or AMR.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of a 3-phase electrical system.
- Strong technical document writing skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Ability to manage and interact with subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Qualifications preferred:Â
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional/Candidate Technician/Technologist.
- BTech in Electrical Engineering.
- Power Quality Analysis background
