NETWORKS & TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN (AA / EE ROLE) MUST COME FROM A MANUFACTURING OR MINING INDUSTRY BASED WEST RAND AREA R45 000 per month IT Diploma / recognized industry certification essential Minimum 5 years experience in configuration, installation and support of switches & wireless access points (digital, analogue, SIP, VoIP telephony systems and contact centres. Good understanding of IP version4 addressing structure and OSI networking model Good understanding of LAN and WAN. Good knowledge of data communication concepts such as latency, packet-loss and jitter Knowledge of networking media such as copper, fibre optic, microwave, mobile and satellite.
