My client, a leading provider of integrated business solutions in Southern Africa, is looking for Telesales Consultants for their offices in Paarl. This is an office based position. Duties: • Support the External Sales Representatives • Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers • Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products • Compiling information on the desired products including prices from external suppliers • Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary • Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives • Ensure all orders received are entered onto the system accurately • Ensure that the external sales team are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts • Ensure that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion Requirements/ Skills needed • Experience and knowledge of ICT consumables • Desirable Minimum of 2 years sales or telesales experience • Strong customer service background • Sound knowledge of the practical application of a sales department • Experience of building relationships with customers • Cross-discipline team working • Able to provide evidence of working in a target related environment • Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations • Track record of understanding how to reach and identify prospective customers • Excellent telephone manner • Excellent time management and personal organizational skills • Ability to work to deadlines • Ability to work closely to instructions • Excellent numeracy skills • Excellent communication/telesales skills • Strong attention to detail • Proficient at Microsoft Office and Excel Salary Negotiable depending on experience Medical, pension and funeral contributions
