Description REQUIREMENTS South African Citizen, currently residing in Gqeberha or immediate surrounds and available immediately Degree or National Diploma in Cost Accounting/ Accounting Exposure to a manufacturing/ automotive environment Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar environment Excellent working knowledge of SAP including project tracking Advanced Excel skills Unquestionable business ethics and professionalism RESPONSIBILITIES Cost Accounting Analyse changes in product design, raw material, manufacturing methods or services provided to determine effects on costs Maintain cost accounting systems (incl. bill of materials, and standard cost revaluation) as instructed by the Finance and Controlling Manager Provide management with cost reports specifying and comparing factors affecting the process and profitability of products and services Support the month-end process by reporting on price variances and recommending solutions Inventory Management Stock count variance analysis Analyse and monitor EOQs Analyse and monitor inventory movement report (In)Tangible Asset Management Depreciation and amortization Acquisitions, assets-under-construction, write-offs and impairments Project Accounting Management including Oversee customer billing and tracking Cost and profitability analysis and reporting Review project business cases before handover to production management (closing of projects) Investment request approvals and tracking Creation, maintenance and settlement of WBS elements Monitor and report on long outstanding purchase orders Advise the SCM team and finance team on purchase order account allocations Prepare and report on cash planning status (weekly and monthly) Process and maintenance postings regarding the general ledger Review, control and post accruals as instructed by the Finance and Controlling Manager GRN account analysis and reconciliation Prepare and update the necessary financial information for the plant reports Oversee, prepare and update the necessary financial information for the project reports (PSM) Prepare and update the necessary financial information for the month-end reports Assist with audits and preparation Assist with the preparation of budget and forecasts Additional ad-hoc duties as necessary Support and participate in commercial sales and trade cost pricing (CBD and PBD), with the plan to take full responsibility in future Prepare sales and cost of sales for budget input Update, review and verify customer price contracts (quarterly and ad-hoc) before SAP updates Assist in the preparation and calculation of RFQs Preparation of AIS claim Support in the preparation of CCA documents
