Knowledge of various forms of contracts (NEC, FIDIC and JBCC would be an advantage)
Minimum 5 years of experience in proposals/bidding generation with at least 3 years in a management role.
Experience and background in construction or an engineering field is required.
Responsibilities
Develop the Proposal Plan and review the Enquiry Summary, if necessary.
Analyses Contract requirements and conditions.
Approves the scope of work of each party involved in the bid.
Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer-defined timeframes.
Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.
Deliver persuasive writing and proposal best practices.
Defines and approves the bid cost structure with support from the Estimator and based on the evaluations made by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement, assets management).
Approves the preliminary project cash flow developed by the Estimator.
Endorses the project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, and overall resources plan developed by the Operations Team.
