Textile Designer Parow East - The Foschini Group - South Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION The opportunity: TFG is looking for a dynamic Graphic/Textile Designer to join our Foschini Design and Manufacturing Team. You'll get to work across four exciting brands in a dynamic fast-paced environment. So, if you're a go-getter, with a can-do attitude who is willing to work hard & grow with our brands, we'd love to meet you Responsibilities: Design of all graphics for all four departments. Design of all textiles for all four departments . Work closely with the designers and buyers to roll-out new trend relevant designs. Submit creative deliverables within the agreed-upon deadlines and costings. Ensuring consistency of all design collateral in line with the brands guidelines. Participation in team brainstorms. Requirements: Have a minimum of 3 years' experience. Diploma in Graphic & Textile Design. Up to date with industry related trends . Proficient in Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator). Ensure you have a portfolio to submit with your application. Competencies and behaviours for success: Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Committed collaborative team player. Good communication skills. Adapting and responding to change. Resilient, Driving and Persevering. Ability to work well under pressure. Deadline driven. Pro-active.
