Job Title: Deputy Project Director, Asia Location: Thailand, Thailand, Thailand Reference : EM2 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: The Deputy Project Director, Asia will assist the Project Director in carrying out the oversight and management functions of the Cooperative Agreement. The Deputy Project Director will assume responsibilities of the Project Director when the Project Director is absent or unable to perform her/his duties and responsibilities. Requirements: The position requires an individual with: A masters’ degree in health sciences or a related advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience in Asia. Experience in designing and/or implementing research projects. Experience in TB control in Asia. Demonstrated skills as a manager or deputy director of a similar type of program. Leadership qualities, depth and breadth of technical expertise and experience, strong management experience, and written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the program description. A technical background and language skills of the USAID priority countries that complement the Project Director. Regional Asia experience is required.
