Job Title: Market Activator Location: Isando, Gauteng, South Africa Reference : 12 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: Key Accountabilities and Outputs: Planning and Training: • Responsible for the set up and planning of Brand Activations as per the monthly promotionaL and activity calendar – in conjunction with merchandiser and promoter team • Liases with the Team Leader to source sales tools, marketing material, messaging etc as required to deliver impactful activations • Ensure he/she is customer oriented and confident in conveying the brand benefits > requires training programs have been completed and meet BevCo standards Execution – Store, Outlet, Event, Commuter Point Activities • Directs and is responsible for performing the brand promotions as per the promotion/activity calendar. • Responsible for ensuring a store/ location check has been completed ahead of a promotion based on the following: o Stock and Samples ; Pricing; Coolers; Displays; POSM Kits; o Responsible for coordinating and executing all commuter point, shopping centre, sponsorship and sports events as required to deliver an impactful brand activation outcome Compliance: • Must ensure all proper documentation and records are maintained including adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards • Ensure adherence to site safety standards as head of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee and compliance to all relevant legislation Key Qualities: Critical Success Factors: • Customer Perspective Communication: • Routine communication with customers or clients Problem Solving: • Proactive identification of problems that are concrete and procedural, troubleshoot and apply solutions in line with guidelines provided or escalate more complex problems to superiors, providing information required to solve problems.
