Manage the social media editorial calendar and ensure the content is published by the stipulated deadlines Deploy social listening tools to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends, and strive to boost engagement and resolve any potential conflicts that may affect brand reputation Generating original social media content—including copy and graphics Community building and engaging with each target market—including customer service, influencer outreach and responding to questions Testing social media posts, establishing an approval process and managing accounts Building campaigns, including ad buys, promos, and proving ROI Planning the weekly, monthly and quarterly content calendar for social media posts Keeping up to date with current benchmark trends, local market research, competitor analysis, etc. Coordinating with freelance photographers, copywriters, videographers etc. to deliver consistent and effective social media content across accounts Drive community growth for the client driven by community management efforts Be the “go-to” thought leader and expert in driving social community growth and engagement Build strong relationship with brand fans, and social platform partners. Stay abreast of cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develop timely content strategy for real-time content Manages all content creation, revision, and retention across multiple platforms. Spearheads tasks regarding content as well as editorial strategy Brainstorms with editorial team members to develop new ideas for content. Developing the company's voice and image in-line with branding and company goals Identifying new opportunities for content creation such as an emerging social media platform Analysing content reach and prepare reports for senior management Covering live events 5 years of experience working on community and crisis management Preferably with agency experience. Respectful but provocative attitude, capable of pushing thinking, but understanding when to dock the boat. Must be able to maintain composure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proven successful collaboration with creative leaders and complex teams. Proven thought-leader and passion for the social, influence, and community engagement. Experience of running real-time community engagement for brands in different markets. Active user of social platforms Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret ongoing research and media reports, guide and partner with social media experts to inform communications recommendations Market related and experience related- to be explored with each candidate differently.
