Our Client, a highly reputable Global Automotive concern is currently in search of a passionate and customer focused Customer Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare the daily report for the scrap review meeting.
- Analyze scrap from the past 24H and identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Drive daily action plan with interaction into various departments within the plant.
- Drive and facilitate in Quality investigations, to determine root cause & corrective actions.
- Support production w.r.t to product, supplier, and process concerns.
- Drive open actions resulting from customer concerns & audit.
- Support the laboratory with operation requirements in meeting product test requirements.
- Initiate containment and sorting activities when required from customer / supplier / internal concerns.
- Drive and facilitate quality gate activities related to product launches & engineering changes.
- Participate in analysing data gathered to establish trends, systemic failures and alike.
Familiarity and knowledge of automotive processes:
- Formulate, maintain and control of the written Procedures & Customer Specific Processes where needed.
- Adherence to Policies and any other documentation relating to the plant.
- Follow and maintain Audit Schedule / Matrix.
- Participate in customer, system & internal audits.
- Support the closeout of audit report findings and corrective actions.
- Participate with communicate to the customer, suppliers as well as internally.
- Assist in the implementation of new quality systems.
- Adherence to relevant HSE requirements as per the Management System.
- Effective communication externally and internally relating to Quality Concerns.
- Formulate monthly data from customer, internal and suppliers monthly reporting.
- Review processes (COP) on frequent intervals for optimization and improvements.
- Adherence and administration of budgetary requirements within the plant.
- Attend and participate in project, engineering as well as other required meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant Quality Management / Mechanical Engineering and / or related degree or diploma is essential!
- 3-5 Years stable and proven Tier 1 Quality Assurance experience gained within the automotive or mechanical engineering industry is required
- Knowledge of relevant Customer, Supplier and Quality Assurance Auditing to ISO / VDA 6.3, TS and IATF 16949, ISO 14001 (Systems and Processes)
- Proficiency on MS office
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar CRM system
- Attention to root cause analysis
- Strong analytical skills (MSA and Capability Studies)
- Ability to work as a team and organize activities for action.
- Customer Service driven both externally and internally.
- Effective communication skills with customers, peers and shop floor. (Verbal and written)
- Own reliable transport and valid drivers license
