Reference: PE002323-MT-1 Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently looking to employ a Toolmaker based in Port Elizabeth. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: Qualified Toolmaker. 3 to 5 years' experience. Must be able to read Technical Drawings. Must operate Toolroom Machinery effectively. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Repair and maintain tooling as required in a cost-effective method. Work according to production plan. Attend to urgent breakdowns. Support production where needed and implement improvements. Minimize downtime on presses. Manufacture and maintain tooling within recommended time frame. Log correct hours worked on to logging system. Conduct tools try outs and adjust tool for sign-off. Work according to required timing and sequence.
