- Qualified Toolmaker.
- 3 to 5 years' experience.
- Must be able to read Technical Drawings.
- Must operate Toolroom Machinery effectively.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Repair and maintain tooling as required in a cost-effective method.
- Work according to production plan.
- Attend to urgent breakdowns.
- Support production where needed and implement improvements.
- Minimize downtime on presses.
- Manufacture and maintain tooling within recommended time frame.
- Log correct hours worked on to logging system.
- Conduct tools try outs and adjust tool for sign-off.
- Work according to required timing and sequence.
