Description REQUIREMENTS Qualified Toolmaker 3-5 years of experience in the supervision of employees within an automotive manufacturing toolroom environment RESPONSIBILITIES Overall supervision of staff in the Toolroom division in conjunction with Design tools and equipment for production lines based on extruded aluminum profiles Participate in process and calculation work Cooperates with the project development team Makes sure that tools are delivered according to specification and given demands Responsible for trimming tools and equipment Supports continuous improvement and optimization of processes and solutions Plans and prepares order documents related to equipment Verifies order documents concerning completeness, functionality and feasibility based on experiences Documents production material/ equipment; corrects and amends drawings if necessary Inspects received parts and initiates rework/ adjustments if needed Supports the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment Conducts test of production materials/ equipment Produces parts with complicated structures and extensive equipment Sets-up devices under consideration of operational standards Maintains equipment, dismantles deficient equipment and checks it according to non-conformity report Conducts and documents repairs Adjusts maintenance standards after consultation Plans and coordinates allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor
