Tourism & Client Coordinator - Cape Town City Centre

Our client in Cape Town is currently seeking to appoint an energetic and result-driven, Tourism & Client Coordinator to join their current team. This individual will play a crucial role in assisting the Expeditions Manager with daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring a holistic approach to impact the client's experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Client Engagement.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Assisting in quoting and Proposal Creation.
  • Creating and maintaining a booking system.
  • Customer feedback for improvement.
  • Checking and maintaining travel documentation of clients such as valid passports & visas.
  • Supplying expeditions with pertinent information and real-time support during and after travel.
  • Liaising with 3rd party marketing team.
  • Reporting as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary education in Hospitality &/or Travel and Tourism or equivalent experience.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented.
  • A code 8 driver’s license will be essential. PDP would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English , foreign language advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and willing to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior Hospitality/tourism experience (3) years.
