The Tracking Supervisor in the logistics sector is responsible for overseeing the tracking and monitoring of all transportation activities within the company. This role ensures that all shipments are tracked efficiently, and any issues are promptly addressed to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction. The Tracking Supervisor will work closely with the logistics team to optimize tracking processes and improve overall operational efficiency Supervision and Management: Supervise a team of tracking coordinators and support staff. Develop and implement tracking policies and procedures. Provide training and support to tracking staff. Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor real-time status of shipments using tracking systems and software. Ensure accurate and timely updates of shipment statuses to clients and stakeholders. Address any deviations from the planned schedule and resolve issues promptly. Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics personnel to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their shipments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and efficient workflow. Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all tracked shipments. Generate regular reports on tracking performance and key metrics. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
