Reference: JHB011764-LB-1 My client is seeking to employ a Trade Counter Assistant who will be responsible for selling Industrial components in a business to business retail sales environment. Requirements: Experience of selling Industrial components in a business to business retail sales environment Technical knowledge Computer Literacy is a must Internal Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) or a basic course in computer technology Previous experience in using the SAP system for processing orders Education: Matric or technical N4 - N6 Responsibilities include: Maintenance, and improvement of cross counter customer service. Assisting in the supervision and security of the display area Monthly updating and continuous improving of display areas in line with company marketing activities. Stock take on all display items every 2 months. Responsibility for cash balance at the end of the day in the Trade Counter as well as the reporting of all cheque, credit card and electronic transfer transactions by 09:00 the next business day. Assisting customers with queries. Processing orders. Processing/picking customers' orders. Processing faxed orders/quotes where required. Processing telephonic orders where required. Receiving goods returned from customers. Assisting in the maintenance, general neatness and cleanliness of the trade counter. R 20000 - Monthly
