Spoor & Fisher is looking for a Trademark Administrator within the Trademark Changes Team. The successful candidate would be based in the Centurion office. Primary Tasks: Opening of files on Inprotech. Management of own files and attending to diary for said files. Monitoring of deadlines and ensuring these are met. Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and suitability for recordals. Preparation of recordal application forms and/or instructing agents to file recordals. Liaising with current or previous agents of record to obtain file contents for takeover of portfolios. Preparation of documents for execution by clients, such as assignment agreements, licence agreements and powers of attorney. Updating the internal systems and capturing of data. Following up with Registries and/or agents on outstanding matters. Processing official documents received from the Registries and agents, particularly reviewing the documents for accuracy. Invoicing clients. Processing of invoices received from agents. Liaising with clients on various grounds including: reporting on the status of matters providing quotations obtaining documentation providing information on recordal procedures Knowledge and skills: A good knowledge of Inprotech and DMS Proficiency in MS Office An excellent command of the English language Accuracy and a good eye for detail Must be able to work independently and unsupervised Must be driven and deadline-oriented Able to work well under pressure
