Operate Press Machines Check quality of wheels produced Check batch tickets for raw materials to be used (Fibers-Labels and bushes) Check that Mix Quality is correct, correct mix General Housekeeping after shifts Reporting of problems on presses downtimes, reconnect issues and adjustment issues Responsible for completing pre-start press Check List Reporting of faults, breakdown etc to Line manager Monitoring of production process – scrap / hourly tellies (record) Follow safety procedures and company policies for machine operation Identify and report unsafe hazardous conditions to supervisor Recording label consumption Grade 12 or 2 Years Experience within Packing / Stripping/ Goods Transfer/ Labelling Trade tested Junior Fitter and Turner A flair for figures (Mathematics – stock counting etc) A Clean APS Chart (Discipline, Late coming, Absenteeism) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
