Build effective working relationships with Area Coaches and Restaurant General Managers to align, facilitate, and support the Training function within a company restaurant
Communicating effectively with a Restaurant General Manager and Area Coach regarding any Training practices in a restaurant that need to be maintained or changed and holding the team accountable to make these changes through effective coaching
The Trainer will work with the Business Partner and AC to identify management training needs, including individual training needs, and search for training solutions to identify those needs
Training, Coaching, and Guiding staff on all company policies regularly
Providing effective feedback Training strategies that have to be implemented to achieve restaurant objectives.
Escalating Training concerns in the restaurant that affect the strategic goals of the Operations Department.
Conducting Performance appraisals and interviews with possible development candidates and ensuring that management staff in the restaurant are certified to Lead a Shift or Lead a Restaurant
Overseeing the completion of any Vault courses (including Modules, new product launches, as well as management certification) and taking corrective steps should employees fail to complete assigned courses timeously
Mentor and coach management trainees
Coordinate the Development Record sign-offs.
Ensuring that there is a Training plan in place in every restaurant which will be managed through the RGM and Training Captain with the HRBP overseeing the process.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities
Assist with the Tracking and Reporting of Training Deliverables including:
Trainees- Team member Basics are completed within 30 days of employment online
New Team Members complete BOH basics within 30 days
MOH curriculum completed within 30 days
All-Star curriculum completed within 30 days
Company tracking documentation is updated weekly to reflect the training status
Development – Number of benched individuals as per YUM guidelines on effective bench planning
New Product Launches – Ensuring 100% LTO completion per restaurant.
Company tracking documentation is updated weekly to reflect the training status
Assist operations in reaching KPIs by identifying and addressing Gaps in operational tools
Requirements
HR and Training expertise, including business culture, policies, etc.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills,
Valid driver’s license
