Route Management t/a Henred Fruehauf is seeking to employ a Training Officer at our Bellville Branch. We are a large multinational group of companies with more than 3000 employees, catering for a broad product range and covering a vast geographical area on the African continent. Training Program Development: Stay current with new welding techniques, technologies, and industry standards. Collaborate with various departments and business units to determine needs and develop training solutions. Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions, including classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training in welding techniques. Provide individualized training and coaching to trainees as needed. Utilize various training methods to accommodate different learning styles. Assessment and Evaluation: Assess trainees' skills and knowledge through practical tests and written examinations. Provide constructive feedback to trainees to help them improve their welding skills. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments. Monitor trainees' performance by liaising with supervisors and management. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations. Provide training on safety procedures and the proper use of welding equipment. Promote a culture of safety and quality within the organization. Professional Development: Attend professional development workshops and training as needed. Share knowledge and insights gained from professional development with colleagues and trainees. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, trainee progress, and certification statuses. Prepare reports on training activities and outcomes for management review. Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs. Complete all administrative tasks associated with the position. General Duties: Assess and organize equipment and material for training. Perform other training-related duties to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the training facility. Relevant trade- or equivalant certificate with five (5) years post-trade experience. Previous training or instructional experience. Qualified Assessor / Moderator. Strong administrative skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with welding training equipment and tools Computer literate Good physical health. Market related salary Medical Aid Pension fund
