An exciting opportunity exists for an suitably experienced individual to fulfill the role of a Nightshift Transport Co-Ordinator in our Jacobs operations. The main function of this role is to ensure clients are kept up to date with their deliveries, effective communication with the drivers is maintained and the transport management system is updated. The successful candidate will have 2 - 3 years working experience in the road freight industry with specific knowledge of container movement (Operational and Administration), in posession of a valid drivers license and excellent communication skills (written and verbal). The success candidate will also have a working knowledge of NAVIS and the port operation. The transport co-ordinator is also responsible for the pre-departure briefing and debriefing at the end of shift with the drivers.
