Treasury Trader - Stellenbosch
One of our JSE listed clients seek a Treasury Dealer Support to join their team. This role will work closely with the Treasury Manager and facilitate the group of companies' financial markets requests to the treasury team. The role calls for someone who holds their RE5, has worked as and is an FSCA registered representative and no longer under supervision and registered for Cat1 products. This is essential to this front office treasury support role. This is a permanent half-day position.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions
- Daily liaison with financial institutions, enabling companies to buy / sell / invest in financial products to the advantage of the business
- Daily transactions administration
- Daily and monthly market data distribution
- Treasury system inputs, interest recons and reporting
- Assist with FICA process
Requirements:
- Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role within financial markets
- Registered with FSCA as a registered representative no longer under supervision for Cat1
- Strong base of financial market and Cat1 products required
- Excellent relationship building skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
- Good team player
