Our client is based in Gauteng. They are currently seeking the services of a IT Coordinator: HR Professional. Job Title: IT Coordinator – HR Management Location: Brits Reference: PTA002960-JL-2 Job Summary: Duties & Responsibilities: OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: This role is responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs for the IT team providing a professional service related to the entire HR fraternity, from policies and procedures, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development and ad hoc administration. This role is also responsible for managing issues raised by current and future employees and matters related to employment, labour negotiations and employee relations. GENERAL TASKS: Participate and support Infrastructure and Operational projects and programs related to Resource management, concerning time and cost Maintain a high standard of quality and effectiveness concerning administration including effective mailbox management Continuously communicate with team members and Management and other stakeholders in a professional manner. Performing ad-hoc duties and administration as required. Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as required Assist and / or prepare correspondence as required and ensure distribution thereof Create, implement and evaluate all IT Human Resource department policies, procedures, standards and structures Compile and communicate guidelines for HR procedures, ie. Training, travel claims, leave allowances etc. Review IT HR policy timeously, aligned with Service level agreements Ensuring updated guidelines and policies are readily distributed and available to employees Maintain IT personnel Recruitment and Disciplinary processes in line with the overall IT personnel policies and procedures. Understand the current and future demand for human resources to support the achievement of IT objectives and to deliver services and solutions based on the portfolio of current IT-related initiatives, the future investment portfolio and day-to-day operational needs. Evaluate staffing requirements regularly or upon major changes. Ensure that both the enterprise and the IT function have sufficient resources to support enterprise goals and objectives, business processes and controls, and IT-enabled initiatives adequately and appropriately. Identify shortfalls and provide input into resource strength plans as well as enterprise and IT recruitment processes Facilitate labour budgets and resource strength planning processes and ensure it is aligned with departmental needs Ensuring resource Organograms are updated and distributed timeously with all labour changes FORMAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Matric Certificate Appropriate HR related tertiary qualification ITIL Certification (RECOMMENDED / ADVANTAGOUS) MINIMUM JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years HR Generalist experience Good record-keeping and organisation Good Computer Literacy – MS Office products Working effectively as part of a team and seek to support the team goals Complete understanding of stakeholder relationship management Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations. Ability to deal with senior levels of client/user personnel. Strong client service skills including the ability to deal with all levels as customer service skills are critical. Effective HR administration and people management skills. Full understanding of HR functions and best practices Exposure to payroll practices Fantastic organizational and time management skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
