Introduction An opportunity exists for an Underwriter Administrator within the Fiduciary division. Description Duties and responsibilities of this role Underwriting of new and renewal business, adhering to the required underwriting and procedural requirements including relevant processing Processing new business, endorsements, cancellations, broker changes, and renewals on Aladdin and sending out policy documentation Maintaining lapsed and cancellations spreadsheet Follow up on new business and renewals, including handling of renewal procedure (reminders, hold covers and policy period extensions) Involvement in, and contribution to, underwriting and technical discussions Liaising with intermediaries, other departments, principals and auditors Investigation and resolution of internal and external queries Reporting where required Assistance with projects including broker functions and other marketing initiatives Ad hoc projects relating to the Fiduciary workflow Maintaining relationships with brokers/service providers Broker visits, training and meetings (which may require travel) and co-ordination of such Researching material related to product lines and producing articles for publication in various industry publications. Assist in the promotion of the Company and its reputation in the market Understand the role and fiduciary duties required Understand and operate within mandate, treaty and any other relevant requirements Profile A completed Risk Management/Business/Accounting/Finance Honors Degree from a recognised Tertiary Institution A completed RE5 qualification Proven track record 1-2 years of work experience in the insurance industry is an advantage Any business, legal, or insurance industry certificates We offer Retirement Annuity
