Job Title: Trade Finance Officer 70556 Location: Northern Cape Salary: (Negotiable) Job Type: Permanent Sectors: Mining Reference: 70556 Vacancy Details Main Responsibilities Financing: Optimizing usage of transactional lines (structure, sublimit, bank allocation etc.) in cooperation with the Trade Finance team. Reviewing and agreeing repo calculations and hedge movements with banks. Optimizing usage of various financing solutions (transactional, repo, clean, discounting) Liaising with banks and various internal departments regarding financing Reporting: Reporting and reviewing fee calculations and optimising where possible Facilitating and streamlining reporting tools on transactional bank capabilities, sublimits and utilisation Undertaking various reconciliations between both interdepartmental and external records Tracking entire trade cycle flow and reporting accordingly to banks. Candidate Requirements Education, Skills and Experience: 2 years Trade Finance experience in banks / Commodity trading company Very strong numerical/analytical skills Good MS office Excel skills Fluent in English Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees and with external counterparties (such as banks) in international environment. Capacity to innovate and think out of the box Capability to solve problems, deadline oriented, positive minded Ability to work proactively and autonomously VBA knowledge a plus Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere.
