A leading UPS supplier in Cape Town seeks an experienced UPS Technician for installation, maintenance, and repairs of UPS and battery backup systems. Service UPS and battery systems on-site Produce detailed service reports Diagnose and repair UPS faults Install and commission new UPS systems (10-400 kVA) Perform battery replacements Provide technical phone support Attend after-hours callouts Support Sales with site visits and equipment selection In-depth knowledge of UPS systems Fault finding and repair skills Ability to read electrical drawings Customer-oriented mindset Effective multitasking and prioritization Independent work ability Adaptability to changing environments Excellent communication skills Service excellence commitment 8 years as a UPS Technician National N6 Diploma and trade test in Electrical Engineering (Light Current/Electronics) Advanced computer literacy Valid Code B driver's license Physically fit for large installations and replacements Experience in small project implementation
