VACANCY - SOCIAL MEDIA & E.COMMERCE ASSISTANT - Gauteng
Based in Brackenfell, Cape Town we are an established horticulture business with a vacancy for a social media and e.commerce assistant.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :- Maintain and update the company website, social media profiles, e.commerce platform and other digital channels.- Monitor and analyse industry trends and provide management with innovative ideas to increase product and company awareness and sales in both wholesale and retail market sectors.- Develop our e.commerce presence to evolve into a separate company.- Assist with the creation and execution of e.mail and social media marketing campaigns.- Ad hoc administrative support related to the job function.NON NEGOTIABLE CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :- Minimum of 2 years experience in various social media platforms, e.commerce management, google analytics and website management within a business environment.- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.- Proficient using Adobe Create, Ecwid, WordPress, MailChimp and Payfast- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)- Non smoker (important)- High energy level and "people's person".- Keen eye for detail.- Valid driver's license.THIS IS A NEW POSITION AND REQUIREMENTS MAY CHANGE AND DEVELOP AS THE NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS EVOLVE AND GROW.SALARY NEGOTIABLE IN LINE WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE.If You're Interested And Can Envisage Yourself Developing Especially The E.Commerce Environment Into A Stand Alone Business, Becoming A Potential Shareholder in The Business Then We Would Like To Hear From You - Send Your CV Including A Picture (Head & Shoulders Is Fine) To : gavinbigpond.co.za Please Note The Following :- Don't apply unless you meet the requirements.CV's without a picture will be deleted and not considered.
