To provide a world-class shopping experience to our customers by creating visual displays with high impact and using the store as a marketing vehicle, to maximize sales. Duties (will include but not limited to): Manage the VM portfolio budgets for store updates, new store openings and concepts in line with briefs by obtaining quotes from suppliers. To enhance and make displays come to life in support of business strategies and KPIs. Support the window implementation, in-store merchandising and assembling of marketing materials. Liaise with the Buying departments to convert buying strategy into a VM strategy. Define seasonal visual merchandising principles and standards. Conceptualize VM Principles for each Season and Key promotions. Identify correct stories in line with buying strategy. Provide store specific solutions for layout deviations from VM guideline. Offer support for Regional visual managers to reach regional targets. Ensure VM practices are creative and reflective of trader mentality. Ensure synergy between the Visual Merchandising Department and the Planning, Buying, Marketing and Operations Departments. Ensuring the Marketing packs and campaigns are initiated economically, effectively and timeously. Monitor stock volumes and performance in stores and provide feedback to your VM team. Ensure orders of visual equipment for new and revamped stores are done correctly. Contribute to the new store design meetings Minimum Requirements Matric (relevant qualification is advantageous) Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Project management skills Organized Creative flair and awareness Analytical thinking and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Own transport essential with valid driver's licence Market Related
