Our Client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer located in Cape Town. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge on Microsoft systems. Participation in project planning and implementations Microsoft based infrastructure support Virtualization infrastructure support Back-End infrastructure applications support Research and Innovation/Automation Capacity management & data analysis ITIL based management methodology Documentation/Technical Authoring Hardware/Software Installation Systems Integration Systems Testing and Quality Assurance Pre-Sales Support Under general supervision, responsible for installation and operational support of Microsoft based infrastructure and related back-end systems. Under general supervision, responsible for installation and operational support of Virtualization Infrastructure and related back-end systems. Effectively executes all related tasks within the support areas with the focus on SLA management and delivery against these. Participation in project planning and implementations Requirements Minimum of 4 years relevant technical experience Experience in cloud virtualization industry will be advantageous Technical understanding of the industry Special Requirements: Microsoft Networking Services (Active Directory, DNS, PKI, DHCP) MS Exchange, Office 365 Mimecast VMware Hyper-V PowerShell File and Print Clustering Services Config Management (SCCM, Altiris) Anti-Virus (MacAfee, Symantec) Monitoring (SCOM, Nagios, EG Innovations) Backup (Veeam, Backup Exec, Net Backup) Hardware: IBM, Lenovo, Dell, Fujitsu Salary is negotiable Apply Now
